The establishment of the hotel “U Černého orla” (Black Eagle Hotel) is dated back to 16th century, the hostelry tradition of the house has been kept since 1907. The hotel is situated in a beautiful historical square with the name of Zachariáš z Hradce. His deeds in this originally middle-aged pond-surrounded fort led to its renaissance feeling. The castle in Telč is one of the largest and the best-preserved complexes in Czech Republic and has been chosen as scenery for a number of children films. It must be added that the town of Telč has been on the list of World Cultural Heritage UNESCO since 1992.
